WALKING SCORER

These volunteers collect the players score after each hole and report back via a hand-held

device to the scoring control. This in turn is then passed to the various leader boards around
the course for competitors and spectators information.
Our aim is to allocate a scorer to each game who will then walk the course with the match
relaying the scores. However depending on the number of volunteers, scorers may be based
at the greenside collecting scores as each game leaves the green.
This role is very popular therefore please indicate your second preference of role.
