A BIT ABOUT US

Here at golfvolunteersturkey, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. In 1995 the first tournements were organised in Belek. Mr. Tony Martin, a golf pro, relied on expats to volunteer and support these events.

In 2011, Mr. Tony Martin brought the Ladies European Tour to Belek Antalya and volunteers were needed to support these events.

​

In 2013, Mrs. Loy De La Pena started organising the volunteers for the first Turkish Airlines Open with opening guest Tiger Woods driving from Asia to Europe!

​

From 2014, Mr. Martin Rosenberg started as Chief Marshal for the Turkish Airlines Open tournements to come.

​

In 2016 Mr. Martin Rosenberg decided to handover the organisation to Mr. Peter Van Baekel as Chief Marshal and Mrs. Loy De La Pena as Head Marshal Administration.

Mainly to support Turkish Airlines Open and other golfevents.
